Hillside Public Schools first HIB Art Show was hosted on January 28, 2020 by the Hillside High School Climate & Culture Committee. The purpose of the art competition was to bring awareness to bullying in the Hillside community through artistic expression. The students were challenged to create a design around the theme, "Stomping Out Bullying". The district had over fifty entries; each school sent the top six designs to the high school to be judged at the art show. The art show was well attended by the community. The judges ultimately chose the design of Nayele Del Cid Garcia from WOK Middle School. Nayele Del Cid Garcia's art design will be featured on a district wide t-shirt, everyone will have an opportunity to purchase the t-shirt and bring awareness to bullying.
*I want to personally thank all the administrators, art teachers and counselors for helping to make this event successful.
